明代中叶，御医李鹤龄和锦衣卫杨傲是生死之交，杨傲爱上李鹤龄未婚妻霓裳，为此，栽赃嫁祸鹤龄奸了慧妃。为救李鹤龄，霓裳下嫁杨傲。他知道霓裳嫁杨傲后，隐姓埋名到山西原仓县开了医馆，自称“金胡子”。十二年后，金胡子偶然机会和刘福星携手，破了一冤案，将“情魔”逮捕归案。在调查一巨富杀人案中，金胡子及福星再次携手，查出真凶是杨傲的手下范泰的情妇，范泰为求赎罪，说出当年杨傲陷害鹤龄的阴谋。金胡子上京为自己平反，与福星联手与已成为“定国大将军”的杨傲展开了斗争，杨傲拥兵自重要挟皇上。为了成全金胡子，霓裳使计调走杨傲的百万大军，杨傲一怒之下将霓裳杀害。金胡子找到杨傲，二人大战。金胡子用金针找到他的罩门并将他置于死地，为自己冤案平反。李鹤龄谢绝了在宫中当首席御医，福星放弃了迎娶郡主的机会，二人一起闯荡江湖，扶贫济困。

家住旧楼、性情火爆的孙太阿娥（萧芳芳）每日奔走于家庭、公司之间，为家人、公司处处精打细算。她家中有做驾证考官的丈夫（罗家英）、正念大学的儿子（丁子峻）、待她若亲生女儿的婆婆及军人出身的臭脾气专横公公（乔宏）。丈夫弟妹一个住在富人区，一个远嫁台湾，平日与他们疏于联络。　　婆婆的突然病逝令公公变作痴呆老人，他脑里只有旧事若干、眼前只识阿娥一人，所做的荒唐事一件接连一件，阿娥一家疲于应对，在家安心做主妇的弟媳又不愿伸手相帮。阿娥与丈夫试过送公公去日间老人看护所、老人院，却一样不能省心。而给阿娥带来诸多乐趣的工作也因碰上年纪轻她、能力强她的对手令她烦心。但公公亦用自己的方式对人到40日渐有心无力的阿娥表示着感激。

故事发生在清朝康熙年间，忠臣何大人遭到奸人所害，沦落到全家抄斩的境地。其女玉凤（黄杏秀 饰）为了救父亲勇闯法场，虽然连砍了刽子手十三刀，但依然不敌对方身强体壮，虽然没能救得了父亲，但是玉凤得到了“十三妹”的江湖绰号。　　安骥（汤镇业 饰）是玉凤的青梅竹马，亦和玉凤有着相似的遭遇，同仇敌忾的两人结伴行走江湖，发誓为他们的家人报仇。一次偶然中，两人遇见了康熙的妹妹双格格（翁美玲 饰），双格格在误打误撞之中爱上了女扮男装的玉凤，期间闹出了不少的笑话。实际上，双格格的真实身份早就被九难师太（李琳琳 饰）给识破了，她打算利用双格格来完成她刺杀康熙的大业。

Cameras are rolling on the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe for the tenth anniversary series of BBC One’s hugely popular Death In Paradise, making it one of the first BBC single camera dramas to start filming since lockdown.　　Red Planet Pictures have worked closely with industry bodies, other production companies and the BBC to develop a detailed Covid-19 protocol policy, implementing various safety measures including social distancing, face coverings and temperature and Covid-19 testing to minimise any risk of infection. There is also a full-time Covid-19 Supervisor on set to make sure the protocols are being implemented correctly and the latest guidance is incorporated into the policy. The health and safety of our cast and crew is paramount and production is working in line with the Guadeloupe advice as well as the industry guidelines.　　Returning to the sun-soaked island to reprise their roles are Ralf Little as D.I. Neville Parker, Don Warrington as Commissioner Selwyn Patterson, Tobi Bakare as D.S.
